As a native of Bern, I completed my medical studies and also completed my specialist training mostly at the Inselspital in Bern. This was followed by three years of fellowship in the fields of refractive surgery, cataract surgery and corneal diseases with world-renowned corneal and eye laser pioneer Prof. Dr. Dr. Theo Seiler at IROC in Zurich. During this time, I was also able to work on numerous scientific projects and present them at international conferences.
During my training as an eye surgeon, I was able to take advantage of the opportunity to continue my surgical education at renowned clinics in Asia and South America and exchange expertise with doctors, physicists and engineers from all over the world. Since 2021, I have been a senior physician or affiliated doctor at the ONO Eye Center in Wallisellen and operate on ONO Group patients in the canton of Zurich, Schwyz and Thurgau.
Von 2021 bis 2024 war ich Oberarzt resp. Belegarzt am Augenzentrum ONO in Wallisellen und operiere Patienten der ONO Gruppe im Kanton Zürich, Schwyz und Thurgau.
Seit Juli 2024 wurde mir die verantwortungsvolle Rolle des Chefarztes der ONO Gruppe für die deutschsprachige Schweiz anvertraut.
